We have let the loons define the battle, set the rules and define victory.  They now control our fate and eventually will control us with the assistance of a willing press that allows them to recast the rules and solutions as circumstances dictate. 

We have allowed these nuts to gain control of our government’s infrastructure. 

The relatively small but very vocal eco terrorists groups have been successful not only in selling Americans the idea that the solution to all our problems is conservation but we also allowed them to define the instruments/tools of conservation.  Any energy solution that solves the “crisis” must meet their definitions.  Their definition of energy sources do not include nuclear, the safest and most renewable source nor does it include hydrocarbons unless they defile nature in some country over which we have no authority and little to no influence.  

Ethanol, one of their approved solutions, make no economic sense in the world market and given the nature of our country’s historical approach this should be sufficient or at least it should be given significant consideration.  Additionally, this solution will cause global food shortages.  The greatest impact of these shortages will be seen in third world countries.  That will be OK for now, “kinda of out of sight out of mind” but you can rest assured we will see video from all around the world showing starvation and it will be our fault and if only we would conserve we could solve this problem.  The press conveniently will ignore this “inconvenient truth” as it does not fit their story line.

Unfortunately, we have allowed our government’s infrastructure to be compromised to the point that even if our legislature desired regain control of the regulators they would have a very difficult time undoing the strangle hold of the regulators.

Even with powerful, charismatic and bold leadership in the Executive and Legislative branches we will not solve this “crisis” until we gain control of the Judicial branch and clean out the regulatory rats nest.

If we don’t wrestle control of our government from these eco terrorists we will continue to fight amongst ourselves as to whether we should secure our borders, protect our homeland and defeat terrorist threats around the world that threaten our sovereignty. 

If we don’t wrestle control of our government from these eco terrorists we will give up our standard of living and becoming a third world nation.
